Verifone Terminal Error – ‘CAPK Expired’ 


Clients using Class A VX520 with external PIN Pads (such as VX820 or VX805) may see this error message when processing EMV PIN-based transactions.

    • When you see this error, press the “enter” button which will allow the transaction to process successfully.
    • A permanent fix for this error is now available for download.
      • If you are set up for auto-updates, your terminal will download the update automatically. However, if you choose to apply the update immediately, or are not set up for auto-updates, please click here and complete the steps.
